Panamax: larger parcel economics where ports and draft support them
CharterPulse uses an approximately 76,000 DWT Panamax as a planning class. It can improve unit economics on larger stems, but the advantage disappears if draft, berth size, gear or terminal productivity make the vessel impractical.
Where it tends to fit
