Kamsarmax: a larger Panamax-family planning alternative
CharterPulse uses an approximately 82,000 DWT Kamsarmax as a planning class. It is useful when a larger parcel can take advantage of additional intake without moving all the way to a Capesize assumption.
Where it tends to fit

Planning rule: compare Kamsarmax only after confirming the berth, draft and cargo quantity can use the extra capacity.
