Handysize: flexibility for smaller parcels and constrained ports
CharterPulse uses an approximately 35,000 DWT Handysize as a planning class. It can be useful for smaller stems, shallower or more constrained ports, and trades where geared flexibility matters more than maximum economies of scale.
Where it tends to fit

Planning rule: compare Handysize when draft, berth, parcel size or gear make larger classes operationally awkward.
